to the 2011 season of Urbanna Farmers Market
It’s been a long, cold winter and spring can’t come soon enough! Now it’s time to start preparing for the upcoming season of the Urbanna Farmers Market (UFM), located in Taber Park at the corner of Rappahannock Ave. and Bonner St. in Historic Downtown Urbanna. Taber Park is on the left as you go down Rappahannock Ave. from Virginia St. For those who have participated in past years, Rappahannock Ave. is the road which goes between EVB Bank and Cyndy’s Bynn. The Urbanna Farmers Market is held on the second Saturday of each month May through September. The May 14 Market coincides with Art of the Half Shell. Market vendors may extend their time on that day, but must be packed up and ready to leave by 3:00 p.m. due to traffic concerns. (Special directions to the Market on that day are attached.)
The June 11, July 9, August 13, and September 10 Markets run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Set-up begins at 7:00 a.m. and you are asked to see a UFM Committee Member for your space assignment before beginning your set-up. The fee for 2011 is $60.00 for 1 space for the entire season (5 months), if reserved in advance. Vendors who do not pay for the season in advance will be charged $15 per month, payable one week prior to the market you plan to attend to ensure your space.

Please submit your signed Registration Form with fee and Vendor Certificate (if appropriate) by March 31, 2011 to:
